[O29] NEW listserve info! (the discussion is moving, here's how to get in on it)

Hey-    So here's the deal with O29 listserve communication:
 
New O29Plan listserve
All discussion, planning, debate, organizing details etc etc about the October 29 Antiwar Protest are now going to be located at O29plan at googlegroups.com  If you emailed me about this on Tuesday, you should already be added to this list

The existing O29 at massglobalaction.org listserve
As Jason said, this has now become a moderated announce-only listserve.  I will send periodic emails to the O29 list about how to get on the discussion list.  Perhaps the subscription email address could be in the footer of the O29 list emails or something?  This should be a broader and larger email list for all interested in the Oct.29 Demo.
 
my 2 cents- 
1) For our outreach work in the coming weeks, we should create a signup sheet for meetings as well as tablings that has checkmark columns for "join announcement list" as well as "join planning list"
 
2) John H. expressed to me that he thought O29 should be quite tightly moderated with only emails about October 29th going out.  He objected to announcements about "important antiwar events" being allowed.  I disagree about this.  I think the people on the list DO indeed want to be "plugged in" to stuff going on in the antiwar movement.  I think some folks objected to getting emails about every development in every debate about every issue in the organizing committee.  Getting 30 emails in a day is quite different from 1 or 2.  I think Jason should have broader discretion to allow things of relevance to the movement over the list.  If he starts getting 30 emails with different antiwar announcements everyday... we can revise that policy 
 
3) Can we get the subscription info, in the easiest form possible, posted obviously on the website?
