Stop the Wars Coalition – Meeting Notes 4/24/06

Decisions:
- Next meeting on May 8th 2006, encuentro 5 at 6:30 p.m. (David will facilitate; Suren will take notes)
- We will be tabling at the following events/places:
- Park Street (Dan)
- April 26th, MIT event (Dan)
- April 28th, Danny Schecter @ Emerson College (Karin & Dan)
- May 6 & 7th, Wake Up the Earth (Shifts: Suren & Kira; Allison; Karin; more volunteers)
- Dan will write a proposal for action around Raytheon and the Walk on Hunger; this will be submitted to the listserve
- We deferred making a decision on organizing/electing a steering committee until the June 4th strategy session
- We have organized 3 sub-committtees to work between now and the June 4th strategy session
- June 4th Committee (Allison, David, Elisabeth, Suren)
- Will meet via teleconference (Tuesday, May 2nd, 9:00 p.m.)

- Committee will present recommendations to next Coalition meeting
- Committee members will begin outreach to STWC endorsers
