Berrigan, founded Jonah House in Baltimore in 1973. The community members

Activist and has lectured on non-violent resistance, community, prayer, and

book: <U>The Time's Discipline</U> about their Jonah<U> </U>House experiences.
Her writings have appeared in NCR, Sojourners, Maryknoll, and other
publications. Liz is a prophetic peacemaker for our times. </SPAN><SPAN

nonviolence with simplicity of living and commitment to prayer. </SPAN><SPAN

them throughout the U.S. and Canada. They offer training in peer mediation and
conflict resolution. The Shanleys are involved in Death Row Outreach, and prison
ministry, where they teach non-violence and conflict resolution. Their
leadership in living a nonviolent lifestyle is an inspiration to all
