Hello, Christina,

I won't be at the meeting tonight unfortunately because I have to do
something for my day job. Elisabeth should be there for UJP. Is the
finalized letter of invitation to organizations available somewhere so I
can send it around?
Thanks

Hi,

below are my final suggestions for additions to the statement (two
bullet points).

* To prepare and wage wars of conquest, war machines like the U.S.
military rely on cultivating a violent atmosphere of misogyny and
homophobia -- with far-reaching effects not only in occupied Iraq but
throughout U.S. society.
* In Massachusetts, poor women bear the brunt of public cuts to
welfare, state and community college, Medicaid, subsidized housing,
eldercare, and subsidized childcare.

Nick, can you add these to the website? I have also attached a word
document with a revised statement where these bullets have been
inserted. Will somebody be able to make copies of this latest version
to distribute at the meeting?

Thanks and see you tomorrow,
-Amee
