[O29] **Important - listserve status is changing NOW!

Hi-
Due to the ongoing growth of the October 29th coalition and its listserve, the organizing efforts have outgrown the initial format of this listserve. As is often the case with larger-scale organizing, there is now a need for 2 distinct October 29th listserves.
 
    1) THIS LISTSERVE (O29 at massglobalaction.org) is now to become a LOW-VOLUME
      ANNOUNCEMENT LIST.  It is no longer gonna be the forum for all the day-to-day stuff 
      (updates, debates, discussion, articles, minutes etc) of organizing for the protest.  Any
      people we meet on tablings etc. or anyone who wants to keep updated on important 
      antiwar stuff in Boston or be reminded about the protest and organizing meetings can and 
      should be on this list.  THIS LIST WILL NO LONGER BE AN INBOX CLOGGER (for folks
      who are worried about that). This list is gonna become moderated by someone at Mass
      Global Action, I believe 
 
     2) ALL the Day-to-day organizing and debates will be moved to a second listserve  
      (O29ORGANIZING).  I will create this listserve when I have a few seconds (either tonight 
      or tomorrow morning).  ALL ARE WELCOME and encouraged to be a part of this 
      HIGHER-VOLUME organizing, brainstorming and debating listserve.  This list will be 
      unmoderated (everyone can post freely). As soon as I create the organizing listserve, 
      I will send the subscription info to the larger list (perhaps that info can be included in the  
      footer of the larger listserve?)
 
***If you would like to be included in the active organizing listserve, please send me your email address and write "include me" ASAP!  This will be a big help- if I have your email and consent I can include you right off the bat and not have to spend time trying to guess who wants to be included in organizing and who doesn't.  I don't want to add people who don't want to be on the list but I also don't want people to be missing important exchanges and updates.. so please respond to me if you'd like to be on the list****
