I think Amee brings up some good points about the end, or rather ongoing 
results of coalition building.  one thing i would suggest, though, is 
that the term "white male" not be used whenever a better alternative 
would be "elite white male" .  there are plenty of white males, present 
company included, yes, who may at times stumble on protocol but who by 
virtue of not being welcome in certain lucrative socio-economic circles 
can understand exclusion and alienation.  and some of us also happen to 
be latin at . @n at rchists, even!  but before this becomes an argument about 
how downtrodden we all are, i suggest that we have the ensuing 
discussions in a genuine spirit of understanding.  we are experiencing 
the ill-effects of several decades of social conditioning that 
predisposes us to distrust each other and our wills to power.  we must 
at least make an honest effort to address issues, preferably in a 
neutral but comfortable social setting with budweiser rules of 
order--whoever doesn't want budweiser has to order it h@@self.  :)
