Pizzaz! Great idea.

So I am getting my 9-year old together with some other kids (& parents, of
course), probably the day before to do just what you suggest. We will decide
on costumes, etc. It should be great for the kids...they can use the
demonstration to express their anger/disbelief/confusion at other kids being
killed without having to bother with petty apparatchiks, wannabe commissars
and would-be CEOs telling them what the correct demands are...

I feel silly for having jumped in on this discussion now, not knowing 
the background.  It seems that for the sake of harmony people should 
indeed (pardon the phrase) move on.  I say this as a "radical" who 
cringes at the mere thought of parliamentary procedures.  To Keith and 
others who feel that their causes/slogans are not given enough weight in 
the current incarnation of demands, I offer not only my moral support, 
but also to help you all with materials (banner-making, etc.) to make 
sure these important messages also come through loud and clear.  This 
offer extends to anyone looking for help with costumes, props, giant 
puppets, etc.  A Halloween shop has recently opened in Davis Square, and 
probably a lot of other places, for people loooking to add some pizzazz 
to their dissent.  So yeah, anyone who like me is more interested in 
spectacle at this point than in internal politics please get in touch so 
that we can help each other come up with some memorable displays of our 
beliefs!  I'd be happy to host a creative planning/production party at 
my place if people would be interested... I can get cloth and paint for 
banners for anyone who wants, just let me know.  I also have some 
costumes, musical intruments, etc. and could get more...
